عن عكرمة البربري : ﴿وَالْفَجْرِ • وَلَيَالٍ عَشْرٍ﴾ ، قَالَ : الفَجْرُ الصُّبْحُ ، ﴿وَلَيَالٍ عَشْرٍ﴾ عَشْرُ الأضْحَى. [فضل عشر ذي الحجة للطبراني]. جاء في مصنف عبدالرزاق عن أبي الضحى الكوفي قال : سُئِلَ مَسْرُوقٌ عَنْ ﴿وَالْفَجْرِ • وَلَيَالٍ عَشْرٍ﴾ ، قَالَ : هِيَ أفْضَلُ أيَّامِ السَّنَةِ.
عن عكرمة البربري : ﴿يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا نُودِيَ لِلصَّلَاةِ مِن يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ فَاسْعَوْا إِلَى ذِكْرِ اللهِ﴾ ، قال : السَّعْيُ العَمَلُ. [جامع البيان].
عن عكرمة البربري قال : ﴿وَمَن يَبْتَغِ غَيْرَ الْإِسْلَامِ دِينًا فَلَن يُقْبَلَ مِنْهُ﴾ ، قَالَتِ المِلَلُ : نَحْنُ المُسْلِمُونَ. فَأنْزَلَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ : ﴿وَللهِ عَلَى النَّاسِ حِجُّ الْبَيْتِ مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ إِلَيْهِ سَبِيلًا وَمَن كَفَرَ فَإِنَّ اللهَ غَنِيٌّ عَنِ الْعَالَمِينَ﴾. فَحَجَّ المُسْلِمُونَ وَقَعَدَ الكُفَّارُ.
