جاء في الزهد لابن المبارك عن الحسن البصري قال : المُؤْمِنُونَ قَوْمٌ ذُلُلٌ ، ذَلَّتْ وَاللهِ الأسْمَاعُ وَالأبْصَارُ وَالجَوَارِحُ حَتَّى يَحْسَبَهُمُ الجَاهِلُ مَرْضَى ، وَاللهِ مَا بِالقَوْمِ مِنْ مَرَضٍ وَإنَّهُمْ لَأصِحَّاءُ القُلُوبِ وَلَكِنْ دَخَلَهُمْ مِنَ الخَوْفِ مَا لَمْ يَدْخُلْ غَيْرَهُمْ وَمَنَعَهُمْ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا عِلْمُهُمْ بِالآخِرَةِ.
اليوم الذي تيب فيه على آدم يوم عاشوراء.
عن أبي قتادة الأنصاري رضي الله عنه ، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال : "صِيَامُ يَوْمِ عَرَفَةَ أحْتَسِبُ عَلَى اللهِ أنْ يُكَفِّرَ السَّنَةَ الَّتِي قَبْلَهُ وَالسَّنَةَ الَّتِي بَعْدَهُ". [صحيح مسلم].
عن قتادة السدوسي قال : لَا بَأسَ بِصِيَامِ يَوْمِ عَرَفَةَ. [مصنف عبدالرزاق].
عن عبدالعزيز البناني قال : سَألَ قَتَادَةُ أنَسًا : أيُّ دَعْوَةٍ كَانَ أكْثَرَ يَدْعُو بِهَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟. قَالَ : كَانَ أكْثَرُ دَعْوَةٍ يَدْعُو بِهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : "اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ". وَكَانَ أنَسٌ إذَا أرَادَ أنْ يَدْعُوَ بِدَعْوَةٍ دَعَا بِهَا وَإذَا أرَادَ أنْ يَد…
عن قتادة السدوسي قال : قَالَ مُوسَى بْنُ عِمْرَانَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ : يَا رَبِّ ، أنْتَ فِي السَّمَاءِ وَنَحْنُ فِي الأرْضِ ، فَمَا عَلَامَةُ غَضَبِكَ مِنْ رِضَاكَ؟. قَالَ : إذَا اسْتَعْمَلْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ خِيَارَكُمْ فَهُوَ عَلَامَةُ رِضَائِي وَإذَا اسْتَعْمَلْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ شِرَارَكُمْ فَهُوَ عَلَامَةُ سَخَطِي.
