🪙در بین بچههای کانال و کلا هر بار که صحبت از بیتکوین به عنوان پول میشه، تقریبا یک نقد تکراری مطرح شده: اگر پول هر سال ارزشمندتر بشه، مردم خرجش نمیکنن، تقاضا از بین میره و اقتصاد وارد رکود میشه. اما به نظرم این نتیجهگیری، خیلی هم بدیهی نیست. اول باید بین دو مفهوم تفاوت قائل بشیم: کم شدن مصرف و رکود اقتصادی. این دوتا لزوما یکی نیستند. اگر پول بتونه ارزش خودشو حفظ کنه، طبیعیه که افراد برای خرج کردن وسواس بیشتر…

توی همهی این سالها که کلدکارد با اون همه ادعا چنین باگ وحشتناکی داشته و سازندهش، nvk، داشت این و اون رو مسخره میکرد، این کیف پول DIY جِید که به راحتی با ESP32 میشه ساختش صد هیچ از کلدکارد جلو بوده!

رودلفو (NVK) کلدکارد رو از روی کدِ متنباز Trezor ساخته بود. شرکت Foundation کد کلدکارد رو برای ساخت کیف پول سختافزاری Passport فورک کرد. (این کار توی فضای متنباز کاملاً قانونی و عادیه.) رودلفو زورش گرفت و پروانهی کلدکارد رو طوری عوض کرد که رقبا دیگه نتونن از کدش استفاده کنن. اما چون نمیتونست پروانهی کد GPLی رو که از ترزور گرفته بود عوض کنه، مجبور بود اون کد رو حذف کنه و به جاش کد جدید بنویسه. توی همین فرآی…

بالاخره موفق شدیم! بعد از تلاش مستمر و هماهنگی بین سه نفر در سه منطقهی زمانی مختلف، موفق شدیم ۳/۶ بیتکوین رو به جایی امن انتقال بدیم. توی این فرآیند مشخص شد که علاوه بر firmware مخرب، کیف پول نقص فنی هم داره و firmwareش به نسخهی جدید به روز رسانی نمیشه!!!!

درد دل در مورد لودهبازیهای رودلفو، صاحب بِرَند ColdCard این NVK یا رودلفو همیشه میگفت QR کد مشکل امنیتی داره، اما وقتی دید توی بازار براش تقاضا وجود داره، ColdCard Q رو زد که کیو آر کد هم پشتیبانی میکرد و از اون موقع به بعد، کیو آر کد به به شد! هر جا مینشست و بلند میشد لِجِر رو مسخره میکرد که از کابل USB استفاده میکنه و میگفت غیرممکنه پورت اتصالی مثل USB رو که چند هزار صفحه specش هست امن کرد و جلوی همهی ح…
