вчера опять читали Бейлина, разбирали один очень вычурный анекдот — и Яков к слову вспомнил для нас такое выражение: mákes mit kartófl mákes (מַכּוֹת) — это казни египетские; в переносном значении — всякие невзгоды и проблемы; в еще более переносном — вздор; и в самом переносном — обидно-отрицательное наречие типа "фиг" в выражениях "его фиг поймешь" или "туда фиг доедешь" а makes mit kartofl — это египетские казни…

а вот когда вальтер беньямин подавал документы на продление пребывания в СССР, он заявил, что это нужно ввиду необходимости закончить научную работу по вопросам советского искусства видимо бессовестное враньё в данном случае должно звучать как комплимент юному советскому государству (в итоге немецкий искусствовед гр. Беньямин был охарактеризован как лояльный человек, получил билеты в театр и 25% скидку в гостинице…

когда я подавал документы на шенген, мне позвонили из визового отдела немецкого посольства: — дипломат просит уточнить у вас, кто такой вальтер бенжамин а кто он такой? исторически честный ответ на этот вопрос звучит так, как будто ты лжёшь и выкручиваешься! (в итоге сперва еще 10 минут допрашивали, про кого это я пишу, а потом отказались признать меня исследователем) 🐈⬛️
