Реально недооценённая эпоха. Хотя, может, и по делу оценённая и заслуженно подзабытая. Незапечатлённая нигде, кроме как в воспоминаниях малочисленных современников, но именно потому, что вот эти 2014–2019 были пятилеткой нашего институтства, настолько милая сердцу.

На фоне размышлений об относительно тихих гаванях на нынче неспокойных рынках капитала вспомнил забавную историю из по факту недавних, но по ощущениям древнейших времён. Чем дальше я хватаюсь за "Историю философии" Рассела, тем больше я изумляюсь тому, сколько в ней своенравия автора. Как много в ней домашних чувств - раздражения, неудержимой иронии, высокомерной снисходительности. У Расселла совершенно чеховский темперамент. Про «Историю западной философии» Рассела много писать не буду. Скажу только, что к её прочтению меня подтолкнул этот пост почитателя искусства игры в футбол и основателя подкаста «Cappuccino & Catenaccio“ Игоря Порошина. Книга хороша, как учебник духа времени той или иной эпохи, но нельзя забывать про оптику автора и необходимость критического отношения ко всему написанному.
