Не перестает не нравиться понятие «бросить курить». Все бы ничего, но оно плавно перерастает в состояние человека бросившего курить. «Перестать курить», «отказаться от курения» ничем не лучше в этом плане. Английский вариант «quit» непонятен и чужд.
