Hz. Ömer (ra) Efendimiz'i (sav) öldürmek niyetiyle kılıcını kuşanıp yola çıkmıştı. Yolda kız kardeşinin de Müslüman olduğunu öğrenince oraya yöneldi. İçeride Tâhâ sûresi okunuyordu. Sayfaları eline aldı, okudukça yüreği titredi. Doğruca Dârü'l-Erkam'a gidip iman etti. O gün Müslümanlar ilk defa Kâbe'nin yanında açıktan namaz kıldılar. Hz. Ebû Bekir (ra) vefat ederken kızı Hz. Âişe'ye (r.anhâ): "Beni şu iki eski elbiseye sarın, birini de yıkayın" dedi. Hz. Âişe (r.anhâ): "Babacığım, biz yenisini alabiliriz." Ebû Bekir (ra) kararlıydı: "Vallahi, Rasûlullah'a (sav) verdikleri bir oğlağı bile bana vermezlerse, onu almak için onlarla savaşırım." Hz.
