Но главная проблема Одиссеи — это убогий голливудский монтаж, не дающий древним мифам дышать. Кадр у Нолана почти никогда не длился больше 10 секунд, но именно в древнегреческом эпосе наплевательское отношение Нолана к своим зрителям становится очевидным. А вот батхерт хейтеров разнокожих артистов меня только порадовал — 3 тыщи лет назад на Итаке явно жили не straight white males, так что дяде Нолану респект хотя бы…

Какой же Нолан гений! Ладно, шучу. Идея превратить гомеровский эпос в молебен о бремени солдатского ПТСР — это абсолютно не новое слово в экранизациях Одиссеи, а вполне себе протухший прием, который куда филиграннее развил Уберто Пазолини в своем Возвращении (подробнее о фильме писал для Сеанса вот тут). Так в чем же магия нолановской Одиссеи? В засилье голливудских актеров, которые тешат свое самолюбие под снисход…
