2024年11月27日周三，德国大众汽车集团宣布将出售其在新疆的所有业务，并从新疆撤资。 新疆是维吾尔等多个突厥民族的家园，拥有和中国占大多数人口的汉族截然不同的文化和语言。而中国政府常年在新疆实施违背人权的暴行，大量维吾尔人正在遭受中国政府的强制奴役。多年来，人权观察和多个维吾尔组织不断请求德国大众汽车集团撤出新疆，停止参与中国政府对维吾尔人的强制奴役，但德国大众汽车集团声称从新疆撤资是出于经济原因。 即使在出售新疆所有业务后，德国大众汽车集团仍有可能继续与强迫奴役劳动产生关联。根据人权观察与其它多家机构的调查，包括德国大众汽车集团在内的多家汽车制造商可能正在使用遭受强迫奴役的劳工生产的工件。我们呼吁各家汽车制造商详细追踪供应链来源，确保其生产与强迫奴役劳动无关。 source

这是伊克拉木·努尔买买提。他是一位维吾尔人。也是一位屡获殊荣的电影制片人。 2023年5月，努尔买买提被中国警方逮捕，并立即遭到酷刑，定下了莫须有的“积极参与恐怖活动罪”。2024年1月，努尔买买提获刑六年零六个月。 根据中华人民共和国刑事诉讼法，刑讯逼供下获得的口供属于非法证据，必须依法予以排除。但不幸的是，中国的司法机构常常无视这条法规，特别是当案件与各类“特别行动”相关的时候。而努尔买买提案正属于“严厉打击恐怖极端主义特别行动”。 我们呼吁各国政府为伊克拉木·努尔买买提还有数以万计无辜的维吾尔人遭遇到的酷刑和不公发声。 source

中国政府正在逼迫无数藏人搬离TA们世代生活的村庄。 中国政府对藏人村庄的强制搬迁，以及对藏人学校、文化、宗教的强制同化，逐渐侵蚀了藏人原有的生活方式和文化传统。大量藏人农民和牧民被强制搬迁至远离农场的地区，不得不转业成为附近工厂的工人谋求生计，生活被迫发生剧变。 中国政府对外宣称这些藏人的搬迁完全出于本人自愿，但对内的官方宣传中却明确写道 —— 一旦某个藏人村庄被列入搬迁计划，当地居民必须配合，否则必受严惩。 2016年至今，一共有500余个藏人村庄被强制拆迁，超过14万藏人被驱赶到了远离家乡至少数百公里之远的新定居点。 source
