Прочитал новую книгу Пелевина. Кажется, Виктор Олегович проживает какие-то экзистенциальные трансформации. Предположу, что возраст сказывается. А может это я проживаю, и мой возраст сказывается. Мне эта книга показалась наименее едкой, в чем-то даже непривычно серьёзной. Конечно, присутствует фирменная духовная проповедь на блатном языке, и живописание цинизма общества потребления, но при этом арка героя неожиданно …

На звонке собеседник сказал удивительно точную фразу. Она идеально описывает любой пример успеха и неуспеха, который я видел в бизнесе, личной жизни, образовании, науке: Боль неизбежна. Либо через дисциплину, либо через сожаление. В первом случае она временна, во втором постоянна. Кто не страдает, создавая дисциплину, страдает после, от сожаления об упущенном, но уже бесконечно.
