После покупки б\у ноутбука обязательно сразу же отдавайте его на обслуживание. Каким бы свежим он не был, может оказаться так что предыдущий владелец так его разгонял, что там уже термопаста окаменела. Это может привести к смерти процессора итп.

Желатин как правило имеет животное происхождение, и не является чем-то потерявшим свои свойства (подобно уксусной кислоте), наоборот, его свойства сохраняют.
