а главное то забыла! ФРАНШИЗА!!! произошло от глагола franchir (освобождать, переступать), а еще дальше от известного нам franc. исторически термин означал освобождение от налогов или получение особых прав, а в современном бизнесе трансформировался в покупку прав на использование известного бренда и модели. а «francis» - предоставление прав крестьянину или крепостному. имя фрэнсис, небось, тоже сюда.
