لعل أصدق ما قرأت وأصدق ما قيل في مسألة تغطية الوجه والكفين قول الإمام ابن حجر رحمه الله: "ومن المعلوم أن العاقل يشتد عليه أن يرى الأجنبي وجه زوجته وابنته ونحو ذلك". فواللهِ إن العاقل والرجل وذا المروءة والحمية والدين= ليأبى أن يرى الغريب وجه واحدة من نسائه.
