Tremendous progress has been made fixing the Potomac Interceptor collapse!
Following my visit today to the site of the Potomac Interceptor collapse, I’m extremely pleased with the unified Trump Admin response, including EPA, FEMA, Army Corps, and National Park Service, to exceptionally assist DC Water with this urgent rebuild and environmental remediation.
From the moment President Trump received the formal request last week for federal assistance (made by DC Mayor Bowser), the President instantly deployed his administration to do everything in our power to help resolve this sewage crisis at the Potomac Interceptor site. We are excited to answer the call!
