Сегодня началась экспедиция «Крест Эльбруса с Рустамом Набиевым» Идём с севера на юг через две вершины Эльбруса. Планируем две ночёвки в палатках: на высоте 4700 м и на Седловине Эльбруса. Сегодня, 6 августа, команда «Забек на Казбек» в полном составе — 12 человек — взошла на вершину Казбека! Нам удалось поймать отличную погоду. Все проявили мужество и выдержку. На перильных верёвках была настоящая борьба, а ледник оказался рассечён огромными трещинами, скрытыми под снегом. Но мы справились и пробились к вершине! Вся команда счастлива и довольна результатом.
