" إذا كانَ عشيَّةَ عرفةَ لم يبقَ أحدٌ في قلبِهِ مثقالُ حبَّةٍ من خردل من إيمانٍ إلَّا غفرَ لهُ . قلتُ يا رسولَ اللَّهِ أهلُ عرفةَ خاصَّةً قالَ بل للمسلمينَ عامَّةً"
"ما رُؤيَ الشيطانُ يومًا هو فيه أصغرُ ولا ادحر ولا أحقرُ ولا أغيظُ منه يومَ عرفةَ وما ذاك إلَّا لما يرَى من تنزُّلِ الرحمةِ وتجاوُزِ اللهِ عن الذنوبِ العظامِ"
وفضلُ يوم عرفة ليس مقصوراً على أهلِ الموقف، بل يشملُ غيرَ الحاجِّ إذا تعرضَ لنفحاتِ ربِّه تعالى، فهو يومٌ تعُمُّ بركتُهُ كلَّ مؤمن، وتشملُ خيراتُه كلَّ محسن.
قال النبيّ صلَّى الله عليهِ وسلَّم : « ما مِن يومٍ أَكثرَ من أنْ يُعتِقَ اللهُ فيهِ عبدًا من النارِ مِن يومِ عَرَفَةَ ، وإنهُ لَيَدْنُو ثُمَّ يُباهي بهِمِ الملائكةَ فيقُولُ : ما أرادَ هؤلاءِ » رواه مسلم
