Впрочем если взглянуть на вышеупомянутую часовню Святой Елены в Вокрессоне где сейчас находится приход Антиохийского патриархата то становится понятно что ее история несколько сложнее собора Святого Стефана, который сразу строился как православный собор, пусть и по проекту французского архитектора. А вот Антиохийским православным в Париже повезло меньше. Большую часть двадцатого века им приходилось использовать Собор Святого Стефана Константинопольского Патриархата (на фото) - именно там например отпевали скончавшегося в Париже Шарля Даббаса, первого президента Ливана. Лишь в начале XXI века у них появился собственная церковь в Вокрессоне, западном пригороде Парижа.
Церковь Сен-Жюльен-ле-Повр в Латинском квартале Парижа недалеко от широко известного в узких кругах англоязычного книжного магазина Shakespeare and Company. В конце XIX века власти III Республики передали эту средневековую (XIII век!) церковь мелькитской (грекокатолической) общине и теперь там можно услышать литургию на арабском и полюбоваться на иконы в суровом готическом антураже.
