(لقد خلقنا الإنسان في كبَد) أي: لقد خلقنا ابن آدم في شدة وعناء ونصب. واستحضار هذه الآية مهم لصحة الإنسان النفسية والإيمانية؛ فالأصل في الحياة المشقة، وكل استثناء من سعة وأُنس إنما هي رحمات ربانية لنفوسنا الضعيفة. وحين يستقر هذا المعنى ينقلب السؤال وقت الكرب مِن: لماذا أتعب؟ إلى شكر وحمد وثناء وقت الرخاء على هذا الاستثناء الرحيم.

"معذرةً إلى ربكم" الأمة اليوم أحوج ما تكون إلى مشاريع تُؤسّس شبابها، وتُخرجهم من حالة الشتات والضياع، وتجمع طاقاتهم في طريق العلم والدعوة والبناء، والشباب هم رأس مال الأمة، فإذا ضاعوا في جدالاتٍ لا تنفع، ضاعت الأمة كلها.

غياب الشباب عن قضايا الأمة خطرٌ عظيم الأمة لا تنهض إلا بسواعد شبابها، فإذا غابوا عن ساحات العلم والدعوة والجهاد، ضعفت الأمة وتكاثرت عليها الفتن.
لا يغترُّ العاقل بصداقةٍ حادثةٍ له أيَّام دولتِهِ، فكل أحدٍ صديقه يومئذٍ. ابن حزم.
