"كانت عديمة النّظير في نساء زمانها لكثرة عبادتها وتلاوتها وإقرائها القرآن بفصاحة وبلاغة وأداء صحيح يعجز كثيرٌ من الرّجال عن تجويده.. وقرأ عليها من النّساء خلق وانتفعن بها وبصلاحها ودينها وزهدها في الدنيا، وتقللها منها.
وكان الشيخ مُحسنًا إليها مُطيعًا، لا يكادُ يُخالِفُها لِحُبّه لها."
