В четвертый раз на Ямале прошел турнир по пляжному волейболу «66 Параллель» В этом году он получил всероссийский уровень. Всего было заявлено 35 команд: 20 мужских и 15 женских. В Новом Уренгое 27–28 июня прошёл городской турнир по пляжному волейболу в рамках празднования Дня молодёжи. В нем принял участие член СМУС Григорий Гзирян (УЭВП). Соревнования проводились строго по правилам пляжного волейбола 2×2. В мужской категории за медали боролись 12 команд.
