"انتظر عرفة بشوقٍ يكسر رتابة العام بأكمله؛ للعبد في يومِ عرفة خلوات تتغيّر بعدها مقاديره إلى فلاحِها، وتتلاشى نفسهُ السيّئة ما سأل بيقينِ الصادِق صلاحَها.. لا يدور العام إلا وقد كانت دعواته واقعة كفَلق الصباح، عسى اللّه أن يُهيّئ له قلبي وكُلّي كما هيّئ أسباب الحنين في داخلي بانتظاره."
- ماذا لو رفعتَ يديك يوم عرفة، وناديت ملءَ قلبك : يا الله ،فرأى الصدق في قلبك، والانكسار في نفسك، والدمعة في عينك، فتعطف، وتحنن، وتكرم، ونادى : يا ملائكتي أعُطوا لعبدي ما سأل!.

﴿إِنَّهُ مَن يَتَّقِ وَيَصبِر فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لا يُضيعُ أَجرَ المُحسِنينَ﴾ [يوسف: ٩٠] أي: يتقي فعل ما حرم الله، ويصبر على الآلام والمصائب، وعلى الأوامر بامتثالها { فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُضِيعُ أَجْرَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ } فإن هذا من الإحسان، والله لا يضيع أجر من أحسن عملا. تفسير السعدي ٰ
فلسطينُ صبراً إنّ للفوز مَوْعِدا فَإِلَّا تفوزي اليومَ فانتظري غدا
﴿أَمَّن هُوَ قانِتٌ آناءَ اللَّيلِ ساجِدًا وَقائِمًا يَحذَرُ الآخِرَةَ وَيَرجو رَحمَةَ رَبِّهِ﴾ قال ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما: " من أحب أن يهوِّن الله عليه الوقوف يوم القيامة، فليره الله في ظلمة الليل ساجدًا وقائمًا يحذر الآخرة ويرجو رحمة ربه ".
