In the modern world men are expected to commit themselves to mundane work with the same degree of selflessness & enthusiasm one would have had as a warrior on the battlefield fighting for some grand cause or ideal. (Not intended to glorify, merely stating the obvious). βοΈ Bureaucracy I think, has caused more men in the west to snap than outright oppression, now isn't that something to ponder. Chip away at a man's patience, his hope for a worthwhile life, his dignity & agency, do it over many years & don't be surprised if he sees no reasonable alternative than to take matters into his own hands.

I've always been fascinated by the lives of the homeless, wherever they might be but particularly those from among our own folk. I often sat with the local homeless in my area growing up, inquiring about their stories & what led them onto the streets. Sure many were disingenuous smackheads but there were many genuine souls to be found out there too, who for one reason or another had fallen upon hard times. We can ceβ¦
