Время захватывающих историй.
В июне в пустыне Гоби прошёл международный ультрамарафон The Track Mongolia. Участникам нужно было преодолеть 520 километров за 9 дней в автономном режиме. Победителем стал российский спортсмен Евгений Устюгов. И мы пригласили его в гости, чтобы послушать, как всё это было!

Сегодня нужно было пробежать за раз какую-то безумную цифру.
Ветрище утром никак не давал разжечь огонь. Просто никому.
Местные отправили к горе, собранной из черепов животных и амулетов. Пошел, че. Сказал, что без кофе с вафлей, ну, никак не могу бежать.
И, мол, сжальтесь, ребята, пошаманьте там за всех нас. «Ребята» там, видать, посовещались) и решили, что огню быть. Зажегся моментально.

Записки:
Финишировал первым.
Франк, конечно, машина.
Думал оторваться от него минут на 10.
Но он просто будто стоял за спиной.
Где-то надо поднабрать силенок, чтобы в предстоящие два дня отыграть у него 20 минут.
Как же это дохрена и больше.
Сегодня давали песочные дюны, тягунок в 30 км. Рюкзак значительно уменьшился. Супер.
У меня есть преимущество на спусках. Они мне даются легко.
Я, пожалуй, даже люблю …
День пятый.
Природа утром планировала ураган.
Но в итоге был легкий, приятный ветер. Без осадков. И не жарко.
Бежалось быстро и просто.
Пульс до 140.
Кэмп в этот день организовали между гор. Совершенно неожиданно много зелени.
Очень красиво.
60 км провели с Франком.
Потом я оторвался. Прибавил скорости.
На последних километрах наперерез выскочило какое-то животное.
Я таких не видел никогда.
Оказался, монгольский в…

День третий. 54 км.
* По ощущениям, бег сегодня не в кайф, а испытание.
* Первые 25 км ощущал себя как в Москве после длительной 30+.
* Очень сильный ветер.
И он дует на 360 без остановки. Скрыться невозможно.
Песок в зубах.
* Бесконечная, однообразная местность. Как здесь выживают животные? А люди? Круглый год?
* С одной стороны, ветер дает хоть какую-то прохладу. Соревнуется с солнцем. С д…
День второй.
Пришел третьим.
Всего на пару минут позже лидеров.
При этом, по старой Женькиной традиции, намотал лишних 2 км. Видимо, придется с этим смириться что-ли. Не знаю, как это выходит. Но петляю я каждый забег.
С утра бежалось легко.
Было +25.
Когда перевалило за 45, темп упал.
Тяжелый скарб будто стал тяжелее.
Поскольку немного заволновался, что поиграл в первый день 40 минут, сделал ошибку. Превысил скор…
День первый.
И главные сложности гонки.
Много километров. Да.
Но я тренировался. Был готов.
Рюкзак реально тяжело, но терпимо. Привыкаешь.
Погода.
Накануне старта вечером Гоби встретила нас песчаной бурей.
Ночью температура опускалась порой до +5.
Утром 25.
Через пару часов 40.
И так по кругу.
В голове мелькало: аааа, вот так это будет, спасибо, понятно, не нравится.
Но хошь не хошь пришлось с этим всем подружиться…
