The land of Shinqit has just lost and mourned one of its great pillars of scholarship, Muhammad al-Hasan Walad Ahmadu al-Khadim al-Yaʿqubi al-Shinqiti. He passed away today. He was one of the top scholars of the Maliki Madhab.

The tomb of Shaykh Abdul Aziz Al-Tubba’ (التبّاع), known for his knowledge of medicine and shifaa. There’s oil here that is kept near his tomb that people continue to use for shifaa for their ailments, especially skin conditions.
