Название фестиваля "Йошка Еш" звучит тепло и по-домашнему. «Йошка» – это неформальное, живое название Йошкар-Олы, а «еш» в марийском языке означает «семья». Тем самым в самом названии заложен смысл единения, встречи за общим столом, традиций и гостеприимства.
