Мало кто знает и слышал об острове Даманский. Но именно там отстаивали наши земляки границы СССР. В 1969 году – 57 лет назад. Китайская Народная Республика предприняла попытки захватить остров. 26 февраля в оздоровительном комплексе "Ключи" Томского района, была организована встреча с ветеранами боевых действий. Председатель Комитета Семей воинов Отечества по Томской области Диана Викторовна Смолева рассказала о деятельности комитета на территории Томской области и представила нашу военную газету. Очень благодарны Диане Викторовне за оказанное содействие!

17 февраля в "День кадета" и в преддверии "Дня защитника Отечества" Региональным центром воспитания Департамента образования Томской области проведен торжественный "Кадетский бал". В рамках данного мероприятия были приглашены и военнослужащие военного комиссариата Томской области. От лица руководства комиссариата благодарственными письма были награждены организаторы бала.
