Diese hübsche Henne kommt von der gleichen Frau, von der wir bereits Huhn Frieda aufgenommen haben. Sie hat nur wenige Hühner und wollte dieses Huhn und noch ein weiteres Huhn abgeben. Ihr liegen die Hühner sehr am Herzen und so fragte sie mich, ob ich noch Platz für zwei Hennen habe, damit sie bei mir einen schönen Lebensabend haben. Und ihr wisst ja, dass ich bei solchen Anfragen, wenn ich Platz habe, schwer nein s…

Die liebe Sternenglanz hat uns ganz unerwartet verlassen 😢 Tagsüber war sie wie immer mit den anderen Hühnern auf dem Hof und im Garten unterwegs. Am Abend jedoch wollte sie nicht wie gewohnt mit den anderen Hühnern und Hahn Gockelinus auf den Stangen zum Schlafen sitzen, sondern blieb unten am Boden. Mein Papa hob sie in ein Nest, damit sie dort schlafen konnte. Am Morgen saß Sternenglanz noch immer so in ihrem Nest…

Endlich kann ich euch wieder berichten. Die letzte Zeit hatte ich sehr viel zu tun und manche Arbeiten, die ich unbedingt erledigen wollte, dauerten länger als ich annahm. Und dazu kommt immer die tägliche Versorgung der Tiere. Die letzten Tage war es etwas kühler, was den Rindern sehr gefällt. Die Fotos sind von gestern Abend. Allen Rindern geht es sehr gut. Leider mussten wir ganz überraschend ein liebes Tier gehen…

Heute Nachmittag waren wir noch super fleißig. Eigentlich wollte ich nur die Seite oben beim großen Offenstall streichen, aber es blieb noch Farbe übrig. Also habe ich die Außenwand vom Stall von Kathi und ihrer kleinen Herde sauber gemacht und die übrige Farbe dort verstrichen. Puh, jetzt bin ich ganz schön ko, aber auch zufrieden, dass wir heute so viel geschafft haben.

Momentan hab ich alle Hände voll zu tun. Wir haben ein bisschen Gras zur Heuernte gemäht und ich möchte das schöne Wetter ausnützen, um ein paar Dinge auf dem Hof zu verschönern. Ich werde euch noch berichten. Da die Weide von Lina und Otto ein gutes Stück vom Stall entfernt ist, müssen wir sie täglich dorthin führen. Heute hatte ich tolle Unterstützung 💞

Heute hatte ich mich auf die Suche nach Huhn Sternenglanz gemacht. Die Hühner dürfen sich auf dem Hof frei bewegen und ich begann im Garten mit der Suche. Dort war nur Huhn Frieda. Sternenglanz fand ich dann am Stall bei der Futterschüssel und später machte sie mit einer Freundin noch einen Spaziergang über den Hof 🥰
