Fun fact: Абсолютно в каждом кинотеатре на этапе стройки есть как минимум одна перевёрнутая восьмёрка в номере ряда или места. В неизмеримом количестве кинотеатров это не исправляется и после открытия.

Во время просмотра «Эдема» Рона Ховарда поймал себя на мысли о том, как, оказывается, соскучился по сложным, многосоставным историям в кино, и как устал от фильмов, которые можно пересказать одним предложением. Последних сейчас подавляющее большинство даже среди т.н. «немассового» или с претензией на интеллектуальность кино. Те самые фильмы, где хай-концепт, синопсис и сюжет — по сути одно и то же и отвечают на вопро…

Не могу видеть как новую чёрную комедию ПТА продолжают по-русски называть «Битва за битвой» или даже «Одна битва за другой», когда совершенно очевидно, что правильное русское название будет «Не понос, так золотуха». Нет там никаких битв.

В связи с новостями о смерти Майкла Мэдсена, вспомнил одну историю. В 2014 году я работал на кинофестивале Pacific Meridian во Владивостоке, а Мэдсен был тогда членом жюри. Одним из фильмов основного конкурса в тот год был док Алины Рудницкой «Кровь» — чёрно-белая хроника передвижной станции переливания крови в российской глубинке. Перед показом мы с Алиной представляли фильм — она рассказывала о себе, о съёмках, а…

Обожаю, когда люди любят свою работу. Вот, например, на сайте небольшого кинотеатра кнопка покупки билетов на повторный прокат «Конклава» переименована в Habemus Ticketus. Ну мило же!

Вся мировая кинопресса уже вторую неделю находится под впечатлением от финансового и зрительского успеха фильма «Майнкрафт», пишут, что это так неожиданно. Но я вспомнил, что еще восемь лет назад зафиксировал здесь точно такую же реакцию зрителей-детей на мимолётные кадры из этой игры в фильме «Чудо». И это в очередной раз заставляет размышлять о том, насколько велик разрыв между кино-прессой/-критикой/-продюсерами …

Наконец-то могу рассказать, почему вдруг возникла эта статья. Изначально я писал её на голландском языке для крупнейшего в Нидерландах журнала о кино Filmkrant — по крайней мере я так думал. Амбициозная мечта, поэтому не очень верил, что статью возьмут к публикации. Пока ждал ответ, перевёл статью на русский с небольшими адаптациями и предложил коллегам из «Синемаплекса» и они её с радостью опубликовали. Но сегодня…
