Образ мохноногой скифской лошадки оказался огромным историческим враньём. В скифских курганах северного причерноморья обнаружены скелеты трёх, как минимум, пород. Лошади из захоронений, по заключению зооархеолога Н.Н. Спасской, по всем параметрам повторяют распиаренных арабских скакунов. Слава выведения наиблагороднейшей лошади принадлежит скифам. Что-то РАН молчит о сенсации ?
