للفيلسوف بول ريكور رؤية عظيمة أتذكرها دائماً وهي ربما مفيدة لو تأملنا بها، ويمكن اختصارها بالقول إن "التقدم فى الحياة ليس عملية اكتساب، بل عملية تخلِ"، وهنا من الواضح ان ريكور كان يُقصد أن الإنسان لا يكبر بالأشياء التي يحصل عليها وإنما بقدرته على تركها، وأنت كإنسان حين تترك اللعب طفلاً على سبيل المثال، ستكبر! ويمكنك أن تطبق هذا المثال على الكثير من ظواهر الحياة، فتأمل!
