The Red Pill for Crypto Marketers: five hard truths.
1/ A review of the popular crypto-traffic sources with everything that's good and everything nobody tells you.
2/ Spoiler: most «crypto traffic» is content-site readers, not users in a wallet. The gap between those two audiences is the whole difference between clicks and conversions.
3/ Full breakdown on the blog.

QuickNode sells infrastructure to developers - one of the narrowest audiences in crypto. No trick: the ads ran where devs already sit - inside block explorers, mid-debug across Ethereum, Optimism, Base. 0.1% usually isn't a small audience. It's the wrong room - people working, not scrolling.

Their platform.
Their numbers.
Their homework.
Every ad network grades its own test - the impressions it counts, in the dashboard it controls. We show the work instead: which publishers ran your creative, which chains they map to, CTR per placement - not one blended number. You see where budget went and what each site returned. That's the difference between a report and a receipt.

50 creatives. A 20x spread.
1/ Two hardware wallet giants ran on Slise at the same time - right as Ledger's recovery-feature controversy made everyone re-check where their seed phrase lives. Trezor leaned into secure seed-phrase messaging and pulled 1.5x the CTR.
2/ The bigger number: across 50+ creatives tested, the spread between the best and the worst banner was 20x. Same audience, same placements - only the cre…

🟢 The rail that guts ad-tech is already live - and it's crypto
Everyone's debating whether AI agents will kill ad-tech. Nobody's saying the obvious part. The payment rails being built for those agents - Google's x402, Stripe on Base, Mastercard's Agent Pay - already settle on-chain, because cards can't do sub-cent payments at machine speed. And if the money moves onchain, the session does too. Right into the dApps a…

Best time to reach a degen isn't while they're reading about you. It's while they're on an explorer pulling up your competitor's contract.
Pure intent - comparing, checking, deciding - on a page you can run an ad on. Don't need their identity. Just need to be in the room when they choose. Slise puts you there, by chain.

«Brand-safe» as a blocklist doesn't survive contact with crypto.
The risk isn't a few bad sites you dodge - it's the whole farmed layer. Recycled news, bot threads, pages built only to print impressions. You can't blocklist an entire content economy.
An explorer's the opposite - safe because degens use it to move real money, not because someone vetted it. Put the ad in the tool, not next to the noise. Slise does th…

Everyone obsesses over CTR. This campaign was won on CPM.
We ran Coinsbee inside the dApps its buyers actually use - explorers, screeners, dashboards. Clicks were strong (0.58% CTR, ~6x the norm). But the real win was cheap, relevant inventory: reaching a real crypto buyer came out at Web2 prices.
A great click rate on overpriced placements still loses money. Where you show up beats how clever the banner is.

Run a Solana product's ads on Ethereum explorers and you'll get great reach and almost no signups. That's not the creative - it's geography.
A Base user and a Solana user can't even use your product without bridging first. Wrong chain isn't a weaker click. It's a click that was never going to convert.
Slise targets by chain: Solana on Solscan, BirdEye, GeckoTerminal; Base on Basescan and Aerodrome.

A sybil farm can spin up a thousand wallets before lunch.
It still can't fake real users onchain.
Wallet counts measure scripts. Real sessions signal intent.
Slise targets the page, not the wallet - ads inside dApps and explorers, by chain.

Showing the 12 most recent of 20 posts we hold for @sliseads. View and reaction counts are the latest single reading for each post, not a live figure, and a recent post is still accumulating both. A view count marked ≈ was rounded by Telegram before we ever saw it — t.me prints views in full below 1,000 and to three significant figures above, so ≈1,200,000 means somewhere between 1,150,000 and 1,249,999. Unmarked counts are exact. Text is reproduced from the public post preview and truncated for length.
