"كان السلف يدخرون حاجاتهم لدعاء يوم". ومنهم من كان يقول : ما دعوت الله دعوة في يوم عرفة وما دار عليها الحول إلا رأيتها مثل فلق الصبح. ويُستدل بما ورد من الأحاديث عن النبي ﷺ أن دعاء عرفة مجاب كله في الأغلب - إن شاء الله - إلا للمعتدين في الدعاء بما لا يرضي الله.
