Загинув Ігор Ходжаніязов — воїн, музикант і палкий дослідник традиційної музики. Приклад для всіх, приклад людини, що могла дивитися і дивилася в глибину і в ширину. Це так цінно і так важливо. Ігор так багато працював самостійно через інтерес і любов до справи, а не заради кар'єри чи наукових звань. І в деяких галузях він справді був найкращим.
