想要识破“自然分娩无需医疗干预”的谎言，最好的办法就是在网上关注一位养羊人。我是认真的。总有人试图叫孕妇不要去医院，声称女性的身体构造天生就适合分娩，有时候这类谎言很难识破。除非你亲眼目睹过牧羊人在接羔季节所经历的那些惊心动魄、跌宕起伏的时刻。母羊的身体构造明显比我们更适合分娩，它们的骨盆结构不像我们的这么奇怪，小羊羔的头也没有人类婴儿这么大。它们的出生按道理应该是最理想化的“自然分娩”。然而在接羔季节照看羊群的人类仍然需要处于一种不间断的高度戒备状态，随时准备进行医疗干预。因为就算对于母羊而言，分娩过程也并非天生顺利，往往还是需要人类的介入。 而且，即使有人类照料协助，不少母羊和羊羔仍然会难逃死劫，频率还相当高。也就是说，即使把绵羊这种已经独自在野外分娩了百万年的生物，放到近乎完美的条件下，分娩仍然时常致命。 人类婴儿如此脆弱，而且女性的生理结构导致分娩过程如此困难，以至于在过去的50万年里，人类倾注了全部的智慧、技术与协…
