Он правил с 1995 по 2013 год, когда власть была передана сыну в результате семейного переворота. В Катаре объявлен траур на 4 дня, с прекращение работы гос учреждений и министерств.

У нас, наконец, хорошие новости - и политические, и художественные! Сегодня был первый день первой в Дохе ярмарки графики / искусства на бумаге (принтов, фотографий). Называется Sense of paper, проходит в Katara Cultural Village, завтра второй и последний день - еще есть шанс посмотреть на новых художников и купить что-то в личную коллекцию - графика обычно дешевле холстов и легче транспортировать:) с 3 до 8, Катара…

Привет! Факт 133 - о собаках и приюте для собак. Я уже писала о том, что Доха очень условно и фрагментарно dog-friendly, но и тут есть люди, которые бросают собак (особенно, как мы знаем, люди проявляют малодушие в стрессовых ситуациях, как последние недели), и люди, которые этих собак спасают и пристраивают. В 40 минутах от Дохи есть собачий приют, основанный на частном участке, где раньше было что-то типа дома отды…
