Ну що ж, забрав я цю велетенську книжку. Радше, ні, вона могла би бути велетенською, якби мала нормальний шрифт. Натомість, вона звичайна з малесенькими літерами, тож читати її не особливо комфортно навіть в окулярах. Ну що ж, ось чергова паперова могила для гарної книги, де лежати їй доведеться, поки її не оцифрують або не перевидадуть в нормальному форматі.

Ніяк не міг дочекатися, поки ця книжечка зʼявиться на сайті видавництва, і, нарешті, ось вона! Впевнений, що стане вона гідним антидотом після ідеологічної брошюрки Ададурова, бо ж усі попередні публікації п. Брюховецького про Домонтовича завжди були гідними уваги і несли в собі щось цікаве й нове. Гуляю київською картинною галереєю. Оцю-от картину під назвою "Ватаг" в 1930-ті роки заборонили, а художника репресували через формалізм. А от здавалося б, мали б навпаки дати якусь премію за пропаганду - чи не так? Не так. Справа в тім, що такий мистецький стиль був чужим для радянського світогляду. Тільки-но повернувся з кінотеатру, де подивився "Дракулу" Люка Бессона. Готовий сказати, що це найкраща з екранізацій роману Брема Стокера, яку мені доводилося бачити. У рік мого народження - у 1992 - Коппола запропонував глядачеві свою дуже цікаву та вільну інтерпретацію Стокерового Дракули - хоча фільм його, ніби в насмішку, називався якраз "Дракула Брема Стокера". Чудова кінематографічна порада від п. Віталія - фільм "Exhuma". Подивився і дійсно із задоволенням провів недільний вечір. Складно його не порівнювати з фільмом "The Wailing", і причина не в тому, що вони обидва корейські, але радше в дуже живому балансуванні на межі між буденністю та потойбіччям. Західна людина вміла так балансувати за часів хіба що Бенвенуто Челліні, який разом з батьком на власні очі бачив саламан…

Друг поділився таким гарним посиланням, сподіваюся, що на вихідних знайду можливість відвідати. Сьогодні в потязі побачив напис, де просили не кидати в унітаз нічого, крім туалетного паперу; англійською використали слово toilet, українською unitas унітаз. Я якось ніколи особливо не замислювався над тим, що слово "унітаз" закордоном не використовують. Unitas це латинською єдність. До речі, побачив тут на деяких фото з Книжкового Арсеналу, що "Віхола" видала отаку-от гарну книжечку. Зміст вражає; це найцікавіші з есеїв Віктора Петрова, мої найулюбленіші. Я із задоволенням придбаю це видання, хоча в мене є всі ці тексти у велетенському тритомнику за ред. п. Вячеслава Брюховецького; по-перше, бо ж видання "Віхоли" такі зручні, якщо хочеться почитати книгу не вдома (до речі - коли вже почнуть вид…
