История знака ゆ на входе в онсены и сенто. История начинается в периоде Эдо, где на входе в сенто стали вешать знак в виде лука(оружия). Из-за созвучности слов 「射入る」и 「湯に入る」. Смотрите картинку из энциклопедии Эдо. Далее сенто города Эдо 江戸湯屋 первой повешала знак ゆ похожий на лук и читающийся как 湯. Этот знак и обрел популярность, распространившись по всей стране.

Закончился сезон дождей, началось Японское лето - пекло и влажность. Все стремятся на пляж, особо никто и не думает ехать в онсены. Вот и наш канал чуть затих. Продолжая про рёкан 揚羽. Самое интересное в нём это система посещения онсенов. Помимо обычного разделенного м/ж онсена, в наличии имеется 6 приватных ванн на свежем воздухе. Для входа в них вам понадобится ключ, а ключ дают только тем кто оформил членство в рёкане. Цена - 3000 ен за пожизненное(!) членство. С этим ключом, в любое время суток вы можете зайти в свободный онсен и чилить сколько душе угодно. Очень выгодна…

По Японии разбросано множество интересных рёканов (гостиниц японского стиля), но некоторые из них особо выделяются. На этих фото рёкан 揚羽(AGEHA), расположенный в онсен-городке 湯西川温泉 префектуры Точиги. Он построен на основе бывшей резиденции самурая клана Тайра(平). Комнаты и коридоры наполнены артефактами, фигурами, оружием тех времен. Завтрак и ужин так же приближены к диете самураев.
