В первом матче сезона в воротах Сан-Хосе исполнял Алекс Неделькович - тогда после его перформансов команда проиграла Вегасу, а сам Неделькович плавно проиграл конкуренцию Аскарову. Видел разные реакции на пропущенный Шестеркиным гол в концовке матча с «Флоридой», но хочется отметить и позитивные стороны. Конечно, любому вратарю было бы обидно пропустить такую шайбу - вернее, случайно смахнуть самому себе то, что не должно было залететь. Евгений Дадонов наконец-таки открыл счет своим голам в этом сезоне - форвард "Нью-Джерси" поразил ворота "Каролины" в самой концовке игры при счете 1:5. Сезон для челябинца складывается кошмарно и явно не так, как хотелось бы - он получил травму в первой же игре регулярки, спустя месяц вернулся и… потом снова получил повреждение, после которого восстановился только в январе. Очень грустная новость - ушел из жизни тренер по физподготовке Валерий Львович Балабанов. Мы с ним вместе работали в «Сочи», и после этого часто пересекались на аренах. Светлый был мужик - добрый, порядочный, образованный, с ним всегда было интересно поговорить на любые темы. Мир был бы лучше, если бы в нем было больше таких людей, как Львович.
