Издательство «Русская философия» мне сообщило, что в ближайшую пятницу из типографии выйдут первые пробные 100 штук моего романа «Прощание с Ольхоном». Очень надеюсь до конца 2022 года подержать книгу в руках. Презентацию буду проводить уже в январе 2023 года, если Бог даст.
Историческое событие произошло в 2022 году на Ольхоне – осенью там положили первый асфальт перед поселком Хужир, на дороге, которая соединяет его с паромом. Почти за два года, пока я писала роман и изучала историю острова, я не встретила ни единого упоминания о том, что здесь когда-нибудь была асфальтобетонная дорога. Я застала остатки деревянных тротуаров в поселке Песчаная, когда впервые побывала там в 2001 году. …

Издательства «Русская философия» и «Традиция» наладили взаимодействие с Иркутской областной государственной универсальной научной библиотекой и Национальной библиотекой Республики Бурятия. Там теперь есть книги издательств. И надеюсь, что там появится мой роман «Прощание с Ольхоном», который вот-вот должен выйти в "Русской философии". Чего только не придумывают неквалифицированные гиды на Ольхоне! В свой первый приезд на остров в 2001 году я услышала от экскурсовода, что якобы выделяли деньги на строительство моста, но их разворовали. Не была бы я журналистом, который всё знает и может мыслить критически, поверила бы. С ростом туристического потока мифов становилось всё больше, и в историю острова вплетались небылицы. И туристу часто трудно отдел…
На Великую Отечественную войну рыбаков с Ольхона начали забирать не сразу. В июне шла омулевая путина, и рыба была нужна тем, кто уходил воевать, тем, кто оставался работать в тылу.
