For the last several days I've been in the midst of the worst POTS flare-up I've had in months. I don't know what triggered it this time but most of the time since I've been in bed recovering since if I stand I end up having a really hard time breathing and get very lightheaded. Hopefully it'll pass soon so I can get back on things, this sucks so bad 😭

I'm running into some hiccups with the eyes, unfortunately since they're black you can't just sand and polish them like white ones- after about 25 hours of work trying to get a decent pair of eye blanks, I'm recruiting my husband for assistance since he has professional painting and polishing experience lol. But the lining is done and the mouth is looking great so far!

This is my first time doing a head strap on a suit, it's super comfy to wear! Got a chance to test out the eye LED feature with the mesh template, too. Tomorrow I'll be sanding down the eye blanks and working on painting/installing the mesh

Now that TFS is over I can reveal the surprise project I've been working on during personal hours! After several years of gaining more experience, I finally remade my suit head and tail! At some point I'll remake the rest of the suit but my energy reserves are pretty limited after work so it'll be some time before that's done They have ear vents, a foam motion tail (that I should have thought to take more pics of)…

Gator boy is all lined and patterned, and the cushioning for the hyena is installed. Lots of good progress! The gator has a very intricate tattoo on the brow, so eyebrows will need to be installed after the face fur is on

This guy is about a week delayed since I had to wait for an emergency fur order to come in, but Washnyan the Proto Cat is done! (Small disclaimer, photoshopped "leg extensions" were added above the feet paws to cover up bare skin)

I'm super excited to prototype my very first 4-finger hand paw pattern! I've been using the Kloofsuits one for so long, but I've been wanting to have a pattern for a slimmer, less toony look It might take some time for the claws to ship so if they're not here a week before TFS, I'll finish it up with fabric claws

I'm going to start transitioning to 3D printed badges for my suit clients! Featuring a clip slot on the bottom for con attendee badges and a super strong magnet on the back so it doesn't flip around when being worn Also, it glows in the dark!
