Доходный дом Семёновой (1909, архитектор Владимир Шервуд) на 1-й Брестской улице. Между третьим и четвертым этажами по фасаду бегут листья, их сторожат три ушастых и глазастых подъезда. Нельзя не добавить, что архитекторов Шервудов очень много; этот, по моей классификации, Шервуд младший-средний.

Исторический детский сад "со слонами"(1934) недалеко от станции метро "Щукинская" обзавелся глухим ограждением из поликарбоната. Что-то с ним затевается, только бы не нехорошее.

Жилой дом редакции газеты "Гудок" (1929) в Среднем Кисловском переулке; над воротами бронзовая такса (скульптор Ольга Муравина). Если удастся проникнуть в калитку, можно увидеть ещё одну работу того же автора - самоубившуюся из пистолета бронзовую белку. Что на самом деле случилось, никто толком не знает. Говорят, работали в одной редакции, несчастная любовь.
