В Аомори (город Товада) каждый год проходит фестиваль Sakura Yabusame — традиционная японская стрельба из лука верхом на лошади среди цветущей сакуры. По дороге из Кавагутико в Мацумото я заехал в рёкан Tateshina Shinyu Onsen. Он находится в глуши, так что бесплатный шатл подхватывает гостей у железнодорожной станции Тино (2 часа 11 минут от Токио).
