Спокойные дни жизни моей, без единой души были долгими. Настолько, что счет за ними и не велся. Но сейчас приходится вести отсчет ,когда чей-то вой прекратит раздаваться эхом по коридорам. Спокойные дни закончились с того самого дня, когда мне пригрозили смертью. Если чужие голоса перекроют его — это дало бы покой моим ушам хоть на какое-то время.

Я всё-таки завершил часовой механизм. Песку в нём ещё не скоро предстоит прийти в движение, но всё же... Это что-то. Этого слишком мало. У меня есть ещё чертежи, но как оказалось завершить их и того труднее... Возможно, когда-то я бы сказал "Да помогут мне боги", но я живу уже достаточно долго, чтобы понять насколько бесполезны мольбы к тем, кто лишь на ступень выше смертных.

Пока аукцион в самом разгаре, я решил ещё немного пробежаться по Сокровищнице. Без Кузнеца создавать что-либо почти невыносимо, и моя работа по большей части напоминает поиски, чем творческий процесс. Нужно больше металла и стекла...

Скитаясь по Сокровищнице я внезапно нашёл очень интересную вещь — чертежи одного из залов Дворца Созидания. Подумать только, я думал, что они давно утеряны, но нет, видимо их кое-кто забрал, когда мы с Кузнецом были увлечены другим проектом. Ах, моё сердце трепещет... Возможно, я смог бы сделать что-то на их основе? Мне потребуется много бронзы и песка. Пора приниматься за поиски материалов. Как же всё-таки неудобн…

Очень надеюсь, что не совершаю ошибку, создав столь открытый канал связи. Впрочем, мне нечего скрывать и никак, учитывая, что выйти за стены Сокровищницы Алчности я не способен, а в её пределах ничего не утаить от её хозяина. Иногда мне кажется, что я не видел света звёзд уже целую вечность, но нет, срок моего нахождения здесь поддаётся счёту даже слишком хорошо.
