أقيم أمس أول مهرجان للقمح في قامشلو احتفاء بالقمح الذي يعد جزءا أساسيا من ثقافة وترأث المنطقة وفي مهرجان مخصص لثقافة الحياة والمرأة. كانت وحدات حماية المرأة (YPJ) جزءا منه بطبيعة الحال. وحدات حماية المرأة (YPJ), قوة مانحة للحياة متشابكة بمعق مع المجتمع
