كان أحد السلف مُطرف بن عبدالله الشخير يقول في دعائه : " اللهم لا تجعل غيري اسعد بما علمتني مني ولا تجعلني لغيري عبرة " قال ابن تيمية -رحمه الله- : " هذا من أحسنِ الدعاء "
