"من حُسْنِ الأدبِ" ●أن لا تُغالب أحداً على كلامه. ●وإذا سُئل غيرك فلا تُجِب عنه. ●وإذا حدّث بحديثٍ فلا تنازعه إياه. ●ولا تقتحم عليه فيه ولا تَرَ أنَّك تعلّمه. ●وإذا كلَّمتَ صاحبك فأخذتَه حجَّتُكَ. فحسِّنْ المخرجَ ذلك عليه ولا تُظهر الظَّفرَ به. ●وتعلّمْ حُسْن الاستماعِ كما تتعلّم حسن الكلام.

عن يزيد بن هارون -رحمه اللّه- قال: "رأيتُ محمد بن يزيد الواسطي بعد موته في المنام، فقلتُ: ما صنع اللّه بك؟، قال: غفرَ لي، قلت: بماذا؟، قال: مجلسٌ جلسه إلينا أبو عمرو البصري -يوم جمعة بعد العصر- فدعا وأمّنّا، فَغُفِرَ لنا." [المنامات لإبن أبي الدنيا (ص ٣٣٧)]

وبعدَ الذي رأيناهُ في مسجد- رسول الله -صلى الله عليه وسلم -مِن التفافِ النَّاسِ مِن كلِّ مكانٍ حولَ شيخِنا الرَّسلان للسَّلامِ والسُّؤالِ والاستنصاحِ، قلتُ لشيخِنا: "هذه آثارُ دعوتِكم جَعَلَها اللهُ في الآفاقِ".. فنظرَ إليَّ وقال: "أسألُ اللَّهَ ألَّا يكونَ استدراجًا" وبكى...!! #أحمد_منعم...
من الطرائف التي ذكرها الشيخ د. صالح العصيمي -حفظه الله ورعاه-: 《 أن أحدهم كان متردّدًا في خِطبَة فتاة، فقال: أفتحُ المصحفَ وأرى على أيّ آيةٍ تقع عيني، وأبْني عليها قراري! ففتح المصحف فوقع نظره على قوله تعالى في سورة طه: ﴿خُذْهَا ولاتخفْ﴾، فاستبْشَرَ خيرًا... ولم يعلم بأنَّ الآية تتحدث عن الحَيَّة!
