Очень важно, чтобы лексика циркулировала в разные промежутки времени. Если она не попадается вам случайно сама по себе в разных контекстах (потому что не поступает большое количество различного языкового инпута), нужно искусственно создавать эту встречу со словами, повторяя пройденное по своим записям. На уроках мы берём лексику, отрабатывая ее в разных частотных контекстах. Дома, по традиции, они должны составлять свои предложения с новыми словами. Я крайне советовала им при составлении джумаль листать свой словарь и выбирать к новым словам ещё и старые слова, которые хуже всего запомнились. В целом же, вижу очень деструктивным страх столкнуться с неизвестным и стремление понимать каждую деталь в предложении, вместо того, чтобы концентрироваться на сути. В перспективе это очень сильно мешает в продвижении.

Мое мнение: можно взять основную книгу мединского курса без доп материалов в качестве быстрого первого этапа изучения языка. Для базового понимания структуры. Ещё раз: быстрого. Без детального изучения и1роба.
