أقبحُ النّساء "السّلفع" عُمر بنُ الخطّاب المرأة السلفع : هي التي تقابل الرجال بجرأة وتُخاطب الرجال ڪأنها رجل مثلهم . وترفع صوتها على الرجل ولا يوجد عندها حياء ولا أدب . هذه المرأة (سلفع) يقال عنها: (المرأة السلفع): يعنى المرأة الجريئة . قال الفاروق رضي الله عنه : ((أقبح النساء السلفع )) رواه ابن ابي شيبة (٣٢٥٠٣) لا تڪوني إمرأة سلفع قال تعالى { فَجَاءتْهُ إِحْدَاهُمَا تَمْشِى عَلَى اسْتِحْيَاء }
