مرحوم حضرت آیت الله معظم سید محمدحسین مرتضوی لنگردوی: شکّی نیست که تولّی و تبرّی امری جوارحی بوده و باید از امور عبادی دین شمرده شود؛ چرا که به قصد قربت محتاج میباشد و با فعل خارجی محقّق میشود و این نباید با صِرف ولایت و برائتی که در ضمن تبرّی و تولّی است، خلط شود؛ چراکه ولایت و برائت امری جوانحی بوده و لازمه اش فعل خارجی نیست. @ayatollah_langrodei
