أعظمُ خدمةٍ تقدّمُها النساء هي تجنّبُ الاختلاط أو مراعاة الاختلاط بشروطِه، خصوصًا للعاملاتِ في المجالِ الطبيِّ. إذا كانت الفتاة تحزن لأنّها لم تخدم وبقيت في بيتِها، فلا تعلم أنَّ استجابتَها لعدمِ الاختلاطِ خدمةٌ أيضًا، بل قد قدّمت خدمةً للمذهب كلِّه بترجمتِها لمعنى الطاعة وتجنّبِ الشبهات. هذا بعكسِ مَن لم تراع الاختلاط بتفاصيلِه، فقد ضيّعت الأجر ووضعت نفسَها في موضعِ الجدل. هالة الجبوري.
